Lupita Nyong’o has one of our favorite VOGUE spreads of 2014, but she reveals that looking so effortless in front of the camera sometimes comes at a heavy price.

She uploaded a quick clip of her posing with a snake behind the scenes and despite producing a flawless shot, she was actually terrified.

Lupita captioned the clip:
