New York Times Bestselling author Eric Jerome Dickey has reportedly passed away.
According to social media reports from friends and family, Eric passed after a battle with cancer. He was 59.
Eric Jerome Dickey was best known for his novels about contemporary African-American life.
If you’re Black in America, chances are you or someone in your household has read at least one — but probably several — of his works.

Eric Jerome Dickey was part of my "wayyyyy too young to be reading this" trifecta with Zane and Carl Weber. This is wild.
