Gabrielle Union has absolutely no problem defending her husband Dwyane Wade.
She took to Twitter to pop back at Charles Barkley after he said Dwyane didn’t deserve to make the All-Star team.
Charles made the comments during Inside the NBA, basically saying he feels Dwyane shouldn’t have been chosen to play in the All-Star game because he didn’t have an “all-star year.”
He said:
“Dwyane’s great, [he’s] a Hall of Famer, but he didn’t deserve to make the All-Star team.” He added, “Dwyane Wade is not having an all-star year”.
Gabrielle got wind of Charles’ comments and took to Twitter to throw some nice-nasty shade right back.
Welp.
Later in the show, Charles caught wind of Gabrielle’s tweet and popped back!
He said:
“Well listen, first of all never mention you and Meryl Streep in the same sentence again. Meryl Streep would never be on ‘Snakes On A Plane’ or ‘Madea’”.
And that’s when fellow Inside the NBA analyst Kenny Smith called Charles out for crossing the line and informed him that Gaby was never in either of those films. Charles defended his position:
“Well she could have been. I’ve seen her act, she could have been on ‘Snakes On A Plane’ or ‘Madea’. She’s taking shots at me. She’s pretty, she’s very pretty. I’m not one of them people who’s going to turn the other cheek. You say something bad about me, I’m going to say something about you.”
Yikes. Watch it all go down below.
