Only a few days into the RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR, Beyoncé teased her new hair care line. It was teased once again in RENAISSANCE: A FILM BY BEYONCÉ.

We know now that the brand is called CÉCRED and it is launching on Feb. 20.

On Tuesday (Feb. 6), Bey took to Instagram and shared the formal announcement of the brand. According to the official website, CÉCRED is where science meets ritual.

She did incorporate fans’ conspiracies into the announcement by using a plethora of comments and TikToks to confirm that the rumors are indeed true.

One said, “It was only a matter of time before a hair or hair care line dropped.” Actress Shoniqua Shandai added, “Take all of my coins Queen! Hair care or bundles… I want it!” Another fan teased, “The tag line should read ‘I’ve snatched y’all edges long enough and now I’m here to restore them.’”

During the tour, CÉCRED also enlisted select beauty influencers to preview the line as they hosted them in a special suite during Bey’s birthday show.

“Along my hair journey, I’ve experienced it all and I look forward to sharing it with you. I wish I could be there tonight, but I’m a little tied up in one of my sacred spaces,” she stated in the custom voice messages.

Bey has spoken about the importance of hair and entrepreneurship on many occasions.

When she made the informal announcement about the line last May, she displayed her natural curls and wrote, “How many of y’all knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon? […] I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon. I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”

The mother of three also told Harper’s Bazaar, ahead of her 40th birthday, “I watched my mother nurture and heal those women in her salon, not just by making them look and feel beautiful but by talking with them, listening to them, and connecting with them. I’ve seen how much Black women’s emotions are attached to our hair and beauty.”

She continued, “The beauty industry does not always understand these emotions and what we need. I want to build a community where women of all races can communicate and share some of those secrets, so we can continue to support and take care of each other. I want to give women a space to feel their own strength and tell their stories. That is power.”
