The Associated Press reported that both Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z have been confirmed as guests this Sunday’s BET Awards in Los Angeles. The power couple hasn’t attended the award show in years.
Stylist Manuel A. Mendez publicized her appearance when he hinted at Bey’s look for the evening via Twitter:
What would the hottest chick in the game wear at #BETAwards? The hive is working working!!#Behive you wont be disappointed.

So far Whitney’s mom Cissy Houston is the only confirmed singer for the tribute as BET is working hard to keep it under wraps so it’s a surprise. But there is chatter that Bey may be part of that tribute. And why wouldn’t she be? Jennifer Hudson and Jordin Sparks have already done tributes for Whitney at the Grammys and Billboard Music Awards respectively. Bey paid homage to the late singer by covering “I Will Always Love You” during her performance at Revel in Atlantic City.
We’ll just have to tune in on Sunday to see! Will you be watching?
