B. Scott is a trailblazing figure in the media landscape. Known for their ability to build fandom through digital assets such as their Love Muffins, B. Scott has stood as an innovator in new media and marketing. They are recognized as a pioneer of the digital age, being the first Black trans non-binary celebrity to emerge from the early days of YouTube. Alongside this, B. Scott launched www.lovebscott.com, a top-rated platform for pop culture and news that reaches a diverse set of core audiences such as women and the LGBTQIA+ community.
Known for their activism, media production, and online presence B. Scott has been a first-mover and lived as the first of their kind to break open doors and access all while paying it forward. In 2008, B. Scott became the first Black trans non-binary person to appear on ‘Extra.’ They continued to break barriers, appearing on ‘TV One Access’ in 2009 and hosting their own show on Jamie Foxx’s The Foxxhole on Sirius XM Satellite Radio in 2010.
In 2012, B. Scott extended their television credits appearing on BET’s ‘106 and Park’ and judge the ‘Rip the Runway’ competition. They also hosted the ‘Style Stage Red Carpet’ at the annual BET Awards in 2013.
In 2021, B. Scott reached another historic milestone as the first trans non-binary person to host and executive produce their own television show, ‘Twenties the After Show with B. Scott,’ on BET. A show which demonstrated B. Scott’s vivacious personality, prowess as a host and the rightful owner of the Crown of the KiKi.
Their work has been instrumental in the blogging business and digital space, with their site, www.lovebscott.com, being credited across television franchises built from their deep relationships with talent and executives in media and entertainment. B. Scott is known for their exclusive content, which has been featured in publications like Essence, Page Six, People, US Weekly, and Variety. Their influence and television presence extends to noted media outlets such as ‘The Breakfast Club,’ ‘Extra,’ ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live,’ ‘The Real,’ ‘TMZ,’ and ‘The Wendy Williams Show.’
B. Scott continues to produce their long-running podcast ‘The B. Scott Show’ and their advice column ‘Ask B. Scott,’ cementing their status as a media mogul and an icon in the Black, female and LGBTQIA+ community.
