Neither Ciara nor Future have publicly announced they’re no longer together, but with all the chatter and non-denial one can only assume the rumors are true.

While it seems Ciara’s taking the ‘it’s none of your business’ stance, a friend close Future says that we’ll get to hear more from Future’s side of love with the release of his upcoming mixtape.

The mixtape is titled Evol (love spelled backwards), pronounced like ‘Evil’, and is scheduled for an iTunes release this fall, the friend tells Buzzfeed.

Pronounced like evil, that’s “love spelled backwards,” the friend explained, suggesting that the forthcoming songs are not specifically about falling out of love, but rather about the unexpected forms love can take. “Future has a weird way to love. You might see it’s not all the way right, but it’s still love. It’s not traditional love.”

“That love thing kinda hindered him I think, it slowed him down mentally,” the friend said.

“Future’s one of those dudes you don’t really interview. To know what’s going on in his life that day, you gotta go to the studio that day. He just takes longer to put his words together and his thoughts.”

The friend also notes that Ciara and Future may remain friends considering the fact that Future’s still friends with at least three women he had children with before Ciara and that they’re one big family.

“When I was in L.A. with him, he has all of his kids and babies’ mothers with him there. When he was in Atlanta on tour with Drake, all of his baby mothers, including Ciara, were there,” he said. “Future loves all his kids and babies’ mothers. I think he’s loved all of them equally.”

We have a feeling we’ll hear a lot more about what really happened between Ciara and Future way before the release of this mixtape.
