When you step into a restaurant, two things usually come to mind: do they serve amazing food, and do they have impeccable service? But as queer folx, we also love when a restaurant celebrates Pride with us. Here are eight restaurants that celebrate Pride Month.

Pizza, Pizza! MOD Pizza Celebrates Pride

MOD Pizza has been serving nothing but cheesy goodness since 2008. MOD Pizza has been known to create wonderful treats, such as their famous Pride Cake with a dash of sprinkles, in support of the It Gets Better Project. MOD Pizza has contributed to numerous donations supporting the LGBTQIA+ community for many years.

Shake Shack Gives Back!


What started as a hot dog stand in New York City’s Madison Square Park in 2001 turned into something unimaginable. In 2021, Shake Shack released their campaign theme: “Together We Stand UNSHAKEABLE,” which was an initiative that was dedicated to uplifting queer artists, employees, nonprofit partners, and freelancers.

They also have their HEROIQ+ campaign, which stands for Helping to Educate Regarding Orientation, Identity & Queerness+. Shake Shack continues to stand with the queer community and promote equality to all.

“Shake Shack seeks to support and create safe spaces for LGBTQ+ employees and communities at a time when hatred against marginalized groups continues to escalate in this country,” said Idris Stover, director of diversity, equity, and inclusion for Shake Shack via their site. “We’re honored to partner with The Trevor Project once again. And we are continuing to play our role as a business by taking action and continue being a champion during Pride Month and beyond.”

Need Something Sweet? Insomnia Cookies Has It!

In 2024, Insomnia Cookies supported the LGBTQIA+ community by donating two dollars from every 12-pack of cookies sold. Insomnia Cookies also has a partnership with Campus Pride, which works to build safer and more LGBTQIA+ friendly colleges and universities.

Noodles & Company Celebrate With A Sweet Treat!

 

Every year, the Noodles & Company celebrates Pride Month with their special sweet treat called Pride Crispy, which is a delicious rainbow rice crispy. “In June, we are pledging up to $30,000 to Out & Equal for LGBTQIA+ workplace equality,” the Noodles & Company said via their  Facebook page.

“At Noodles & Company, our mission is to always inspire every team member, guest and community that we serve,” via their site. “We accomplish this by living our values of We Care, We Show Pride, We are Passionate, and We Love Life.”

Get Up & Get Some Pancakes with Snooze A.M. Eatery

Whether you want a pancake in the morning or the evening, Snooze A.M. Eatery has just what you need. They are serving their special Pride buttermilk pancakes covered in rainbow sprinkles and white chocolate chips. For the second year in a row, Snooze A.M. Eatery has partnered with The Trevor Project. Snooze A.M. Eatery will donate 0.25 cents of its proceeds to the foundation when you order the Pride pancakes.

“Snooze is a proud ally for those in the fight of equality with a vision of a world where we can celebrate diversity and value all people,” the Snooze A.M. Eater said via their website.

 

What’s Pride Without Sprinkles? Sprinkle Cupcakes That Is.

Sprinkles is a bakery founded in 2005 in Beverley Hills, CA. They offer cupcakes, cakes, cookies, brownies and even a special pupcakes for your fur babies. Sprinkles supports the LA LGBTQ+ Center, which provides many services to individuals and families.

“We will also be making a donation to support their mission to build a better world, a world in which LGBTQ+ people can be healthy, equal, and complete members of society.” Sprinkles Cupcakes said via Instagram.

While supporting the LGBTQ+ community, they also specialize in making dietary cupcakes for people who have difficulty digesting sweets.

Nothing Like a Homemade Cupcake…Especially if it’s Baked By Melissa

From vegan to gluten-free, Baked By Melissa has it all. Celebrating nine years of Pride, founder Melissa Ben-Ishay has designed Pride mini cupcakes that will donate 10% of its proceeds to the NYC LGBTQ+ community center.

“As CEO of an NYC-based business, I’ve always seen the annual Pride March as an incredible celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community around me and its resilience in the face of oppression,” said Baked by Melissa CEO Melissa Ben-Ishay.
