Kim Richards is looking forward to helping her sisters, Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton, reconcile during her return to “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
“I think this whole thing between the sisters was hard,” the “RHOBH” alum exclusively told Page Six at Sutton Stracke’s four-year anniversary party for her Sutton Concept boutique in West Hollywood, Calif., on Wednesday.
“So I’m hopeful that we’ll be able to put it back together soon.”
Kyle, who was also at the event, added that it “feels great” to have Kim back on the show.
“It feels really good,” the “Halloween Kills” star said. “She always reminds me that I’m the baby sister and she checks on me, so it feels really good.”
During Season 12 of “RHOBH,” Kyle, 54, had a falling out with Hilton, 62, after the socialite felt her youngest sister did not have her back during her feud with Lisa Rinna.
However, the siblings appear to be making strides in their relationship as they were recently seen posing for a picture together at Elton John’s Oscars party.
“Obviously, we’re a family and we’ve gone through hard times before and we always come back together, so that’s my hope again – to have us all come back together,” Kyle also told us.
Meanwhile, Kim, 58, revealed that she was hesitant to start filming for “RHOBH” again.
“I took this time off and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to come back at all,” she admitted.
The reality star originally appeared on the hit Bravo series as a full-time cast member from Seasons 1 to 5, and then had guest stints on the show for Seasons 6, 7, 9 and 10.
Then, this past weekend, she was spotted filming a hiking scene with Kyle and fellow “RHOBH” star Dorit Kemsley for the upcoming thirteenth season.
Kim told us of her comeback, “I think with everything that’s kind of gone on with my sisters and I’m thinking ‘I need to start getting out,’ I wanted to come in and see my sister and spend a little time with her.”
The “Escape to Witch Mountain” star said she “wasn’t sure” if she would make more than one appearance on the show, but was invited to Sutton’s event — which was being filmed — and decided, “OK, I’ll go.”
“It’s day by day, for me,” Kim concluded, noting that she had recently welcomed her third grandchild and so she didn’t “want to take away too much time from them.”
Aside from Kyle, Stracke, Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Garcelle Beauvais and Crystal Minkoff are also set to return to “RHOBH” full time for Season 13. A premiere date has not been set.
