It’s one thing to critique someone’s outfit or makeup choice when it comes to red carpet looks, but it’s another thing to straight-up critique someone’s face.

Women’s Wear Daily ran a story yesterday called “Men of the 2015 Met Gala” in which they basically said Jay Z needs to get some work done and tighten up his physical appearance.

“The smile lines are becoming too deep,” said WWD, giving his complete look a ‘C’ rating.A bit of filler would do wonders. Maybe he can reach out to his wife’s dermatologist.”

WWD then went on to talk about Jay’s weight.

“The double-breasted peak-lapel blazer is an elegant choice, however, he seems to have gained some weight—it’s pulling in all the wrong places.”

And they eventually made it to his wardrobe, noting:

“[Jay’s] carnation should have been red to tie in with the China theme. It’s not the prom and he’s not the best man at a wedding.”

Ouch. They were a little harsh, don’t you think?
