Skin Bleaching Pop Star Comes for Lupita Nyong’o on Twitter: ‘The white man owns her’

While most of the world was celebrating Lupita Nyongo’s’ win at the 2014 Academy Awards, a certain skin bleaching pop star wasn’t really feeling it and decided to make her feelings known on Twitter.

Dencia pushes a successful skin bleaching cream called “Whitenicious” and she was upset that Lupita’s moving acceptance speech from the 2014 Essence Black Women In Hollywood event encouraged young ladies to be proud of their skin — no matter what color. In her speech she mentioned Dencia’s cream.
