Mariah Carey Scores 16th Billboard Dance/Club Play #1 with ‘Triumphant’

“Triumphant (Get ‘Em)” has become Mariah Carey’s 16th No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Club/Play Songs chart.

The song, with help from it’s accompanying remixes, leaps from 2-1 on the chart to be released on Billboard.com next Thursday (Oct. 18). It marks her first #1 since “Obsessed” back in 2009.

Mariah is currently tied with Kristine W for fifth-place among artists with the most leaders in the list’s 36-year history. Madonna has the record with 43 No. 1s, followed by Janet Jackson (19) and Beyonce and Rihanna (18 each).
