As if we were having a hard enough time keeping up with the Kardashians…
Fox Television Stations and Twentieth Television announced today that Kris Jenner will host her very own one hour talk show, Kris, beginning this summer.
“This is something I have wanted to do all my life so it’s definitely a dream come true!,” said Jenner who will serve as executive producer.
Kris is a pop culture driven show filmed in LA and will feature celebrity guests, fashion and beauty trends; plus a mix of lifestyle topics.
“Whether offering real advice to her family or sharing personal moments with viewers, Kris is honest, compelling, entertaining, and unscripted – all excellent qualities for a daytime talk show host,” said Stephen Brown, EVP of Development & Programming, Twentieth TV.
While the Kardashian matriarch, 57, is used to being on TV (she’s starred on Keeping Up With the Kardashians for the past seven seasons and has made numerous appearances on its spinoffs), will she be able to pull of this type of television? Fox definitely thinks so.
“Wouldn’t be summer without at least one test, would it? In all seriousness, we go into this believing that if it works, the Kris Jenner program could really compliment what we’ve got going with Wendy, Bethenny, etc,” Frank Cicha, SVP of Programming, Fox Television Stations added.
Like The Wendy Williams Show and Bethenny, Kris will have a six-week test run, which has become quite popular on the network.
We’re calling it now: Khloé, Kim and Kourtney will ALL make guest appearances on this show at some point — don’t you agree?
