Ke$ha’s ‘Die Young’ Pulled From Radio Following Sandy Hook Tragedy, Claims She Was ‘Forced’ To Sing The Lyrics

Pop superstar and glitter enthusiast Ke$ha has just made some shocking allegations. The 25-year-old singer has recently had her smash hit single ‘Die Young’ yanked from the airwaves of radio stations across the country following the horrific Newtown, Connecticut shooting but is now alleging that she never even wanted to sing the song int he first place.

Twitter users were furious with Ke$ha and the lyrics of the song, which was released in September, (“Let’s make the most of the night like we’re gonna die young. We’re gonna die young. We’re gonna die young.“) after the Sandy Hook Elementary school tragedy and Ke$ha took to her own Twitter page to respond, saying:

I understand. I had my very own issue with “Die Young” for this reason. I did NOT want to sing those lyrics and I was FORCED to. I’m so so sorry for anyone who has been affected by this tragedy and I understand why my song is now inappropriate. Words cannot express.

The strangest part of this allegation however, is that Ke$ha is listed as a co-writer of the song, and she doesn’t explain why she was forced to sing these lyrics. (It also might be noteworthy to point out that the music video for Die Young, which you can see below, came under fire as well for including several blatant Illuminati references.) No word from Dr. Luke (the producer of the song/owner of Ke$ha’s record label Kemosabe Records), or the other co-writers of the song.
