This is the moment R&B fans have been waiting for. Brandy and Monica’s highly anticipated duet has finally been released and I absolutely love it!

The new single “It All Belongs To Me” was written and produced by Rico Love. Here’s what he had to say about the record courtesy of RapUp.com:

“It’s a very soulful R&B song with pop sensibilities,” Rico Love told Rap-Up.com. “I wanted to make sure I made it a classic R&B record, but I definitely wanted to make sure that it had enough appeal to cross over and become a Top 40 record.”

When news of Brandy & Monica hitting the studio together started to circulate, I could hardly believe it. It wasn’t until a few weeks ago when pics surfaced of the two divas in the studio working on the record that I allowed myself to get excited!

The record is due to hit on February 6th. Two versions of the song have been recorded and will feature on Monica’s upcoming album, New Life (Due out March 6th), as well as Brandy’s forthcoming album in May.

Are you love muffins as anxious to hear the record as I am?

New Music: Ke$ha Ft. Wiz Khalifa, T.I., Lil Wayne & André 3000 – Sleazy Remix 2.0 (Get Sleazier)

Music | December 13, 2011

Over a year after the original “Sleazy” hit iTunes, Ke$ha has returned to the scene after keeping a relatively low profile to bring us this urban all-star remix featuring Wiz Khalifa, T.I., Lil Wayne, & André 3000. “Sleazy Remix 2.0 – Get Sleazier” was released exclusively to iTunes at midnight. While I was hoping for a new beat and a new verse from K$, this will just have to do. The song is already a banger, I was just waiting for something completely revolutionary.

Get into the song below and let me know what you think!

B. Scott Review: Rihanna – Talk That Talk (Album)

Talk That Talk

Rihanna’s brand new studio album Talk That Talk is officially in stores. It looks to be another smash for Rihanna, because as I type this it’s sitting at the #1 position on iTunes in 20 different countries. I’ve spent some time with the deluxe edition of the album and I’m ready to give you love muffins my honest review!

So, how did Rih-Rih do on her sixth effort? Continue reading to find out…

1. “You Da One” – The second single, written by Ester Dean, is probably one of the most radio friendly records on the album. It’s considerably less raunchy than the other tracks and has an infectious melody that you just can’t help but singing. It’s a solid song, but for me it pales in comparison to some of the other tracks. 3/5

2. “Where Have You Been” – This song is one of, if not THE the standout track. While Calvin Harris’ production puts in a similar territory as “We Found Love”, “Where Have You Been” takes that territory and stomps all over it in 6-inch stilettos. It’s bigger, louder, and harder in every way. The song builds and builds until you’re completely engulfed heavy reverb and trance synths. 5/5/

3. “We Found Love” – The current radio smash. There’s isn’t much left to say about this song. I think its popularity says enough. 3.5/5

4. “Talk That Talk” – The title track opens up with nearly a minute long verse from Jay-Z, which is cool. The beat reminds me of Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow” mixed with Rih’s own “What’s My Name”. The best part of the song comes around the 2 minute mark when the song takes on an island-inspired breakdown. 3/5

5. “Cockiness (I Love It)” – It’s probably the most unique song on the entire album. Bangladesh gave us his signature bass-heavy urban banger, while a sexually empowered Rihanna commands listeners to “suck my cockiness, lick my persuasion”. Be careful, because it’s super catchy and you’ll find yourself walking around chanting “I love it, I love it, I love it when you eat it” without even realizing it. 3/5 MORE..
