New Music: Brandy and Monica – It All Belongs To Me

This is the moment R&B fans have been waiting for. Brandy and Monica’s highly anticipated duet has finally been released and I absolutely love it!

The new single “It All Belongs To Me” was written and produced by Rico Love. Here’s what he had to say about the record courtesy of RapUp.com:

“It’s a very soulful R&B song with pop sensibilities,” Rico Love told Rap-Up.com. “I wanted to make sure I made it a classic R&B record, but I definitely wanted to make sure that it had enough appeal to cross over and become a Top 40 record.”

Madonna Delivers Impressive Super Bowl Halftime Performance

Madonna’s Super Bowl XLVI halftime performance marked another legendary moment in the iconic singer’s career. Performing in front of an estimated 110 million people, Madonna showed off her prowess as she effortlessly took to the stage for three of her biggest hits and the first ever live performance of her new single, “Give Me All Your Luvin’”.

Entering the stage on a huge golden throne, Madonna wasted no time letting us know that she is still in fact the Queen of Pop! Accompanied by backup dancers, an illuminated state-of-the-art digital stage, and bit of help from Cee-Lo, Nicki Minaj, LMFAO, and M.I.A. (and her middle finger), Madonna gave stellar performances of “Vogue”, “Music”, “Give Me All Your Luvin’”, and “Like A Prayer”.

Esperanza Spalding Debuts ‘Black Gold’ Featuring Algebra

Eclectic jazz songstress and upright bass virtusuo Esperanza Spalding is back with “Black Gold”, the vivacious first single from her upcoming album, Radio Music Society. Unveiled just in time for the beginning of Black History Month, the song is triumphant testimony of empowerment, and is bound to become a celebatory anthem for people from all walks of life. “Black Gold” features guest vocals from neo-soul songbird Algebra Blessett. Are you familiar with dulce de leche? You’ve probably had it in ice cream, candies, cookies, pies and cakes. And no doubt, you’ve seen it in brownies. Dulce de leche translates to ‘sweet of milk’ in Spanish, and it’s a common ingredient used in Argentinian pastries and candies. The difference between dulce de leche and caramel is that the first is the result of cooked milk and sugar simmered until it thickens. The latter is the result of cooked sugar, to which water or cream is added at the end. Dulce de leche is thick, rich and deeper in flavor than its cousin caramel. Make A Reasonable Plan – Sounds simple enough, right? If you’re the only one cleaning a 4-bedroom house, don’t expect to get it all done in two days. Be honest with yourself and set logical and achievable goals. If you know you can’t stay away from lovebscott.com or other websites during the day, schedule yourself an hour of computer time. That way you’re able to minimize looming distractions and focus on the tasks at hand.
Check Your Supplies – There’s nothing worse than being in your ‘zone’ ready to tackle a project and realizing you’re unprepared. Chances are, if you have to stop cleaning to run to Target and pickup cleaning supplies, you’ll return 3 hours later with even more unnecessary stuff! MTV to Air ‘It Gets Better’ Special Featuring Adam Levine & Zachary Quinto

The It Gets Better Project, created to show LGBT youth examples of success and prosperity despite facing adversity through troubling teenage years, has landed a one-hour spot on MTV. The special will focus on the stories of three young people struggling with LGBT issues. The special will include appearances from Zachary Quinto, Adam Levine, Margarat Cho and Vinne Guadagnino (of Jersey Shore).

Check out a preview from the documentary special featuring Vanessa as she talks to her mother about her personal struggle with acceptance. The show airs simultaneously on MTV and LOGO on February 21st at 11PM EST. First Look: Basketball Wives Returns to VH1 – Feb. 20th

Evelyn Lozada, Shaunie O’Neal, Royce Reed, Suzie Ketcham, Tami Roman and Jennifer Williams return for a brand new season of Basketball Wives. The return marks the fourth season for the ladies as they deal with friendships, love, and inner circles in the highly publicized world of professional athletes.

The season premieres on February 20th, and will feature the addition of two new ladies to the ensemble. Kenya Bell and Kesha Nichols join the ladies for what I’m sure will be an exciting and tumultuous series of events. Check out the official cast photos and trailer below.
